Consumer sales terms
Version dated October 13, 2026
These terms govern the purchase of a CleanCut kit from ABC Rénovations for personal or household use in Quebec. They include the cancellation and refund terms. Installation is covered by a separate agreement with the installer.
1. Your contact
ABC Rénovations is the trade name of P.S.C. Auto inc. ABC sells the kits and handles order follow-up. ABC does not cut bathtubs or perform installations.
For questions about your purchase, a cancellation or a product issue, contact info@abcrenos.com or 438 772-RENO (438 772-7366) (438 772-7366).
2. Your choice and the bathtub assessment
You choose the intended use: a permanent opening for shower use, or a CleanCut Convertible with a removable insert to retain the option of taking a bath. If you are unsure, ABC can explain the options.
Photos help identify visibly incompatible situations. They cannot, on their own, confirm feasibility, kit size or the model to be installed.
The installer takes measurements and checks the bathtub, its condition and any obstacles on site. The installer confirms the suitable model and feasibility before any cutting. Cutting permanently changes the bathtub, including with a Convertible: its insert restores bath use, not the bathtub’s original condition.
3. A written offer before payment
After reviewing the photos, ABC emails you a written offer and a Stripe payment link. Payment for the kit takes place before the installer takes measurements.
The offer states the merchant’s identity and full contact information, your intended use, the kit description and the characteristics that remain to be confirmed after measurement. It also sets out quantities, amounts in Canadian dollars, taxes, applicable charges, the total payable, the arrangements for handing over the kit and the agreed delivery date or period. Cancellation, return and refund terms are provided before payment.
Before payment, the offer also states, for the selected model, whether replacement parts, repair services and information needed for maintenance or repair are available, partly available or unavailable from ABC. Any partial availability identifies the unavailable items. This information is presented clearly in a format you can save and print, with a link to the manufacturer’s corresponding information when one exists. Availability for your purchase must be specified in that offer; this page alone does not confirm the availability of every part or service.
You can review the offer, request correction of an error, and accept or decline it. If the measurements lead to a proposed change to your order or an additional charge, your agreement is required before proceeding. Payment does not confirm bathtub compatibility.
A copy of the contract that you can save and print is emailed to you no later than 15 days after the contract is made. The terms supplied with your order remain the terms of your purchase; later changes to this page do not replace them.
4. Payment and kit handover
Advance payment for the kit is made by credit card on the Stripe page sent by ABC. Never send your card number by email or through a form on this website.
The handover of the kit to the installer, or any other agreed arrangement, is described in your written confirmation. Kit handover and installation are separate stages. ABC informs you of any change affecting the supply of the kit; a new delivery period replaces the agreed period only with your written agreement.
5. Installation and use
The installer is an independent business. You agree directly with the installer on the service price, travel or assessment charges, the work included, the appointment date and the terms applying to the work. These charges are separate from the price of the kit sold by ABC.
Before work begins, make sure the installer has confirmed compatibility and explained the opening location, the remaining threshold and any additional work. If you do not own the property, obtain the required permission to modify the bathtub.
Follow the installation, use and care instructions for the model installed, including the curing time before use. A lowered opening still has a remaining threshold and does not replace an assessment of your transfer or support needs. The modification may also affect the existing bathtub’s warranty.
6. Cancellation and refunds
If the grouped order is not placed
If ABC does not place the grouped order to which your purchase is linked, all amounts paid to ABC for that purchase are refunded. This measure does not limit your other rights if the contract is not performed.
If the bathtub is found to be incompatible on site
If the installer finds on site that the kit is unsuitable, no cutting should take place. The kit, still sealed, is returned according to ABC’s instructions, and the amounts paid to ABC for that kit, including taxes, are refunded in full without a restocking charge.
Contact ABC to arrange the return. The return method and any shipping charges applying to this commercial refund are set out in the written offer provided before payment. Charges agreed with the installer are governed by your installation contract and applicable legal rights.
The sealed-kit condition applies to this commercial measure for incompatibility. It does not restrict any remedy for a defective or non-conforming product, or any legal right to cancel the contract.
Commercial refund timing
ABC issues the refund within five business days after confirming that the grouped order will not be placed, or after receiving the sealed kit returned for incompatibility. The refund is made to the payment method used for the purchase. The time it takes for the credit to appear on your statement then depends on your card issuer.
Other requests
Contact ABC if you want a change, exchange or cancellation for another reason. Any specific terms applying to your purchase are set out in the written offer. No commercial term can remove a right granted to you by law.
Your rights under a distance contract
The law allows a distance contract to be cancelled in certain circumstances, including when information, contract-delivery or product-delivery requirements have not been met. In the cases covered by the law, ABC refunds all amounts paid under the contract within 15 days after its cancellation and pays the reasonable return costs required by law. This legal deadline is not conditional on ABC first receiving a sealed kit.
A chargeback through your credit card issuer may be available when the legal conditions are met. The Office de la protection du consommateur provides information about the applicable situations, steps and deadlines.
7. Warranties and product issues
Warranties provided by law apply automatically and at no charge. They include protection relating to the product’s ordinary use, reasonable durability and hidden defects. They may continue to apply after a manufacturer’s warranty ends.
CleanCut’s limited warranty is separate from these legal warranties. Its terms include a one-year period starting when the product is shipped to the original purchaser, product registration, installer requirements and exclusions relating to installation, maintenance and certain costs. The warranty applying to the product is supplied with its documentation. It is not a warranty of the installer’s workmanship.
If you notice a defect, leak or other problem, stop using the product if it poses a risk and contact ABC promptly. Provide your order reference, the model involved and a description of the issue. ABC handles your product-related request and explains the next steps; your remedies against the merchant and manufacturer remain those provided by law.
8. Applicable law and personal information
Mandatory rules applicable in Quebec take precedence over any inconsistent provision in these terms or in a document supplied with the product. Nothing here requires you to waive a remedy or deal exclusively with the manufacturer.
Our privacy policy explains how your contact information and photos are handled.
