Privacy policy
Version dated October 13, 2026
This policy explains how ABC Rénovations handles information related to your requests and the tools on this public website.
1. Your privacy contact
Marine is responsible for the protection of personal information at ABC Rénovations. To ask a question, exercise a right or make a complaint, email info@abcrenos.com and explain the purpose of your request.
2. The eight active forms
The installer application, occupational therapist contact, CleanCut campaign contact and UNPAINT inquiry forms send the completed fields to ABC when you submit them. These four forms do not accept photos, PDFs or any other files. The information is stored in ABC’s private area and sent to info@abcrenos.com through Microsoft 365 to handle your request.
The bathtub project form sends the completed fields and up to five photos prepared in your browser if you choose to attach them to your request. The fields and normalized photos are kept in ABC’s private area. The fields and reduced-size JPEG copies are also sent to info@abcrenos.com through Microsoft 365 to handle your request. This form does not accept PDFs or other documents.
Three CleanCut service forms also let you register a product, submit a support request or claim, and confirm a delivery. They send the completed information and any added photos to ABC for product, warranty or delivery follow-up.
The reflection questionnaire for occupational therapists runs within the page. Its answers and suggested points for discussion are neither sent to ABC nor saved by the questionnaire’s code. It is not a clinical record or a tool for making a decision about a person.
Your audience measurement choice is separate from submitting a form. If you accept it, Google Analytics may collect the browsing information described in section 9. Chat is also a real exchange if you choose to enable it.
If you use the email link or phone number to contact us instead, that communication is real. The following sections explain the information useful for that contact and the rules applying to your request.
3. Information useful for your request
For a bathtub project, the information collected is your full name, email, phone number, postal code, whether you are making the request for yourself, a loved one or a business, the intended use and any bathtub photos you add. Photos are optional at this stage. You can also provide an optional message and a reference indicating how you heard about ABC. Measurements and other necessary technical information may be added during follow-up.
For a first inquiry through a campaign page, the information collected is your name, phone number, email address and postal code, plus your preferred call time and message if you provide them. Photos are not required in that form.
For an installer application, useful information includes the business and contact person’s names, professional contact details, services offered, service area, liability insurance, relevant licences and any optional message you add.
For an exchange with an occupational therapist, useful information includes a first name, email, workplace and region if provided, and the question or request for a conversation. No information identifying a patient is needed.
If a purchase is made, the billing, delivery and follow-up information needed for the contract is added to the file. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s page, not in this website’s forms.
Photo preparation in this browser corrects orientation and reduces resolution before upload. HEIC processing uses an open-source component locally, without an external conversion service. Its licences and source files are available.
For an UNPAINT inquiry, we use your name and email and, if supplied, your company, phone number, type of space, number of locations, change frequency and project description to answer your request. No bathtub photos or medical information are requested.
For CleanCut registration, we collect contact details, the customer account, delivery date and, for each product, its model, serial number, stated warranty type, installation site and date, installer and any associated optional photos. For support or a claim, we collect contact details, the site, the problem description, any references and dates provided, and added photos. For delivery, we collect the purchase order number, delivery date and address, quantities, driver and receiver names, checks and reported issues, and a photo of the signed purchase order. The delivery confirmation email address is optional. These services do not request health information.
4. What not to send
We do not ask for a diagnosis, medical record, income details, social insurance number or card number in a project inquiry.
For a bathtub project, photograph only the bathtub and the elements needed to assess it. For a CleanCut service, limit photos to the product, issue or requested signed purchase order; cover information unrelated to the follow-up. Avoid people, unrequested documents, medication labels and other visible personal information. If you are acting for a loved one, make sure you have their permission before sharing their information; you can start by giving us your own contact details.
5. How the information is used
ABC uses the necessary information to answer your question, identify visible incompatibilities, prepare and follow up on an order, arrange a requested referral, handle a return or claim, and meet its legal obligations.
A photo cannot confirm whether an installation is feasible. Project reviews and technical exchanges do not replace a professional assessment of the person’s needs.
You can ask for general information without sending photos. Some steps, including assessing a bathtub or arranging a visit, cannot be carried out without the information needed for that step.
6. Referrals and recipients
With your agreement to the referral, useful contact and technical information, including photos and measurements, is shared with the matched installer so it can handle your request. It is not sent to the entire network.
The installer is an independent business. Its use of information for its quotation, visit and work is also subject to its own obligations. You can ask how it handles and retains your file.
Service providers needed for communications or a transaction may also process information to deliver their service. ABC uses Microsoft Outlook for email. When you receive a Stripe payment link, Stripe processes the information entered on its own payment page. Depending on the service, some processing may take place outside Quebec.
ABC may also disclose information when required by law or in another case permitted by law. Using your photos for advertising or testimonials requires separate permission.
Hosting, security and form reception
This website uses the Sites platform and Cloudflare infrastructure to display its pages. Hosting and security providers may process technical information, such as IP address, connection time, requested page and browser information, to deliver pages and protect the service.
Fields sent through the eight active forms are stored in Cloudflare D1 and sent as text to info@abcrenos.com through Microsoft 365. The four forms without photos have no file attachments. File access is restricted to authorized ABC personnel; no installer access is enabled. Email copies are retained separately; filing or removing a record on the website does not erase them from the mailbox.
For the bathtub form and the three CleanCut services, prepared photos are kept in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Reduced-size JPEG copies are sent as attachments to info@abcrenos.com through Microsoft 365 with the submitted fields. The more detailed normalized versions are available in the protected private area, without a public photo address. Original files from your device are not transmitted.
Cloudflare Turnstile protects the eight active forms from automated submissions. It loads on the bathtub project with or without photos, installer application, occupational therapist contact, CleanCut campaign contact, UNPAINT inquiry, CleanCut product registration, support or claim, and delivery confirmation pages and may process IP address, browser and connection information, and the page’s origin. This security check is separate from audience measurement. See the Turnstile privacy notice.
For the three CleanCut services, a receipt acknowledgment with a reference is sent through Microsoft 365 to the contact email provided; for delivery, it is sent only if you provide the optional email address. It does not repeat the file’s fields or photos. This acknowledgment confirms receipt of the submission without an automated decision on warranty eligibility or acceptance of a claim.
Hosting, storage, email and external services may involve processing outside Quebec and Canada. Exclusively Canadian data residency is not guaranteed. Exact processing locations, contractual protections applicable to the account used and deletion periods have not all been confirmed in our provider review. This policy does not guarantee data location or immediate erasure. Contact Marine at info@abcrenos.com for available information about the handling of your request.
7. Retention
Information is retained for as long as needed to handle the request, perform the contract, provide after-sales service and meet applicable legal obligations. The period may differ for an inquiry, order, invoice or claim.
When personal information is used to make a decision about you, the law requires it to be kept for at least one year after that decision. This rule does not mean all information in every request must be kept indefinitely.
At the end of the applicable retention period, information must be destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the law, unless keeping it remains legally necessary. You can ask Marine to clarify the period applying to your file.
The operational schedule calls for review of closed or unqualified inquiries after 12 months from the latest contact or final decision, whichever is later. Active matters and applicable retention obligations may justify a different period. Unfinished uploads are due for review after 24 hours. Transactional records and photos are assessed separately. CleanCut registration, warranty, claim and delivery records are reviewed according to ongoing follow-up needs and applicable obligations; the review period for closed inquiries does not automatically end their retention.
An access or correction request, claim or other legal obligation may suspend disposition. Recoverable archiving is not destruction. Final disposition will be authorized and documented after checking the applicable obligations; automatic deletion of real files is not currently enabled.
Final disposition must also account for providers’ backup copies and technical logs. The deletion periods applying to this website remain to be confirmed; removing a file from the inbox does not guarantee immediate erasure of every copy.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to the conditions set out by law, you can request access to your information, corrections and, where the right applies, communication of the information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
You can also withdraw your consent to future use or disclosure. This may prevent a referral or some service steps from continuing. Withdrawal does not retroactively erase processing that has already taken place and does not require deletion of information that must be kept under a retention rule.
Send your request or complaint to info@abcrenos.com. Briefly describe the file and the outcome you are seeking. ABC may verify your identity before disclosing information. Access or correction requests are handled within the applicable legal deadline, generally 30 days for a private-sector business.
You can also contact Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information to learn about your remedies or make a complaint.
9. Cookies and browser storage
The website remembers your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage. You can change it using “Change my cookie choice” or clear it through your browser settings.
A referral code in the page address may be kept for the session to identify the source of a request. It must not contain a customer’s name or other personal information. This code is sent to ABC with a request submitted through one of the eight active forms.
Audience measurement with Google Analytics
If you accept audience measurement, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how the website is used and improve its pages. Measurements may include pages viewed, link clicks, downloads, form interactions, browser or device information and identifiers associated with cookies. An IP address is also involved in connecting to the service and may be used to derive an approximate location.
The service loads only after you agree. You can decline without losing access to the website and change your choice through “Change my cookie choice”. Refusal or withdrawal applies to future measurement. A choice saved in an earlier version where audience measurement was inactive does not activate this service: you are asked to make a new choice.
Our code does not add contact details, photos, message contents or answers to the occupational therapy questionnaire to measurement events. Google may receive browsing metadata, including page or link addresses and technical information about interactions. Audience measurement consent is separate from a contact request and from enabling chat.
Google may process information outside Quebec. Learn more in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
10. Optional communications and changes
A project inquiry or contact request does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter. Optional promotional communications require the applicable consent and must allow you to unsubscribe.
The date at the top of this page identifies the version you are reading. Any change affecting the collection or use of your information will be brought to your attention in an appropriate way.
Embedded videos
The Vimeo player on the English bathtub page loads when you open that page, without autoplay. This establishes a connection with Vimeo and may send technical information, including your IP address and browser information. The tracking-limitation setting is enabled; it does not guarantee that Vimeo performs no data processing. Other Vimeo videos load when you choose to watch them. Read the Vimeo privacy policy.
Instagram demonstrations
The UNPAINT demonstration players load automatically as you approach the video section to display Instagram’s thumbnails. Videos start playing when you press the player’s play button. When the player loads, Instagram may receive technical information, including your IP address and browser information. You can also use the external Instagram link. See Instagram’s privacy policy.
Chat with tawk.to
Chat is a real exchange if you choose to enable it, independently of the mode of the form you are viewing.
Chat is provided by tawk.to. It loads when you select the floating chat icon to open a conversation. You can also reach us by email or phone.
Enabling chat establishes a connection with tawk.to. The service may process technical information, including your IP address, browser information and the page viewed, and use cookies needed for chat. Messages and contact details you enter are sent to ABC through this service to answer your request. Processing may take place outside Quebec.
Do not send medical information, patient information, card numbers or photos containing personal information. Enabling chat is separate from consent to audience measurement and does not subscribe you to promotional messages.
tawk.to states that conversations are stored at rest in the United States and remain on its service until deleted. Conversations and their exported copies relating to closed or unqualified inquiries are included in the same retention review after 12 months from the last contact or final decision, whichever is later, subject to applicable legal obligations and retention holds. This review does not trigger automatic deletion. For a question or request about your information, contact Marine at info@abcrenos.com. You can also read the tawk.to privacy policy.
