Terms for installers
Version dated October 12, 2026
These terms describe the working relationship that ABC Rénovations offers to independent installers. Specific terms for a working relationship or business purchase are confirmed in writing before acceptance.
1. Each party’s role
ABC Rénovations distributes CleanCut products in Quebec. ABC provides kits, available documentation and product-related follow-up. ABC does not carry out the work, supervise the job site or issue installer certification.
The installer operates as an independent business. The installer prepares its quotation, contracts with the customer, invoices its services and is responsible for its work. A referral from ABC does not make the installer an employee, agent or representative authorized to bind ABC.
2. Joining the network and household requests
An application allows ABC to review the business, its services, territory, insurance and the licences required for the work it intends to perform. Applying does not mean automatic acceptance into the network.
Requests are allocated in turn among installers serving the same area. No number of requests, revenue or exclusive territory is guaranteed.
An installer receiving a request must respond within 48 hours and promptly tell ABC if it cannot handle the request. The installer keeps ABC informed of its availability and service area.
3. Checks before any cutting
ABC’s photo review only helps identify visible incompatibilities. It never replaces an on-site assessment.
The installer must, in particular:
- take actual measurements according to the guide for the model being considered;
- check the bathtub’s condition, stability and configuration;
- identify door tracks, glass panels, fittings, jets, controls, plumbing and other obstacles in the work area;
- check the clearance required for the opening, access and work;
- confirm the model, size and cut location in light of the customer’s intended use;
- explain the permanent modification of the bathtub and obtain the customer’s agreement before starting.
If there is uncertainty or incompatibility, the installer stops before any cutting and gives ABC the necessary technical information. The installer keeps the kit sealed when a return for incompatibility may be needed.
4. Installation contract and work
The quotation given to the customer states the work included, price, taxes, assessment or travel charges, additional work and cancellation terms. Paying ABC for the kit does not mean accepting the installer’s quotation.
The installer maintains liability insurance appropriate to its activities and holds the licences required for the work, where applicable. The installer checks the necessary permissions and complies with the legal requirements applying to the job site.
The installer reviews the manufacturer’s sizing, installation, use and care guides before the work. It uses the specified components and methods, observes the curing time and gives the customer the instructions needed before first use, including instructions for seals and the Convertible’s removable insert.
Guides, videos and information provided by ABC are technical documentation. They do not replace the installer’s professional skills, licences or checks.
5. Kit purchases and commercial terms
When an installer buys kits for its business, the quotation or order confirmation states the product references, quantities, price, taxes, shipping, payment and agreed timing. The business terms for changes, cancellations and returns are provided before purchase.
When a consumer buys a kit directly from ABC, the consumer sales terms apply to that purchase. The installer cannot change those terms or promise a refund, additional warranty or commitment on ABC’s behalf.
If a kit paid for by the consumer proves incompatible on site, the installer tells ABC before any cutting and assists with returning the sealed kit under the consumer sales terms. This procedure does not, by itself, settle assessment or travel charges under the installer’s own contract with the customer.
6. Product, warranty and after-sales service
The manufacturer’s limited warranty applies to the product and has its own terms, including requirements for installation and registration. It does not cover installation workmanship. Applicable legal warranties remain separate.
The installer gives the customer the product documentation and the information needed to register the warranty. It does not present a commercial clarification or translation as a change to the manufacturer’s warranty.
A product-related issue is reported to ABC with the information needed to review it. An installation issue is handled by the installer in accordance with its obligations. If the cause is unclear, the parties work together to identify it without assuming that the customer has no remedy.
7. Customer contact information and photos
Contact details, photos and technical information supplied for a request are used only to contact the household, assess the project and handle the work concerned. The installer protects them, limits access to people who need them and follows the legal rules for retention and destruction.
They cannot be reused for unrelated marketing, published as a testimonial or project photo, or shared with another professional without appropriate permission or another lawful basis. No health information or patient file should be requested for the referral through ABC.
The installer tells the customer about its own business’s personal-information practices and promptly informs ABC of an incident affecting information ABC provided.
8. Brands and representations
The CleanCut name and related images remain subject to their owners’ rights. A relationship with ABC does not grant a general licence to reuse images or documents.
An installer cannot claim to be certified by ABC or CleanCut without valid authorization. It must not promise compatibility, clinical outcomes, fall prevention or regulatory compliance that the relevant checks and documents do not support.
9. Contact and applicable documents
For an application, order or technical question, contact info@abcrenos.com or 438 772-RENO (438 772-7366) (438 772-7366).
Specific terms accepted in writing and applicable law govern each working relationship. Changes to this page do not retroactively change an order or agreement already accepted.
