When colours, campaigns or sets change several times a year, UNPAINT offers a new way to plan those temporary transformations.
An option to explore for personalizing an interior or changing a room’s look, on a compatible, properly prepared surface.
Seasonal windows, launches, promotions and brand-colour display areas.
Temporary installations, brand activations and pop-ups dismantled after the event.
Booths whose colours and branding change from one client to the next.
Sets, studio walls, props and photo stages whose look changes regularly.
Rental spaces, common areas and commercial units that change tenants or themes.
The technical data sheet allows for indoor use of up to 12 months, away from direct sunlight.
A sufficiently even and thick application allows the coating to be removed as a film.
Can be applied by brush, roller or with airless equipment.
Walls, plywood, glass, metal, plastic, acrylic, concrete and other compatible surfaces. A prior test is required.
The technical data sheet generally recommends 2 to 3 even coats. An extra coat may be needed on certain base colours or surfaces. Too thin an application can make removal harder.
Allow roughly 30 to 60 minutes between coats and up to 24 hours for final curing, depending on application conditions.
No. The surface must be clean, dry, stable and properly prepared. A test in an inconspicuous area is recommended. Results may vary with porosity, colour, surface condition and number of coats.
Some colours may slightly tint certain pale or porous surfaces. A compatibility test should be done before full application.
Up to 12 months in an indoor space without direct sun exposure, per the manufacturer's recommendations.
Per the technical data sheet: roughly 128 to 170 sq ft per gallon over a similar colour, 106 to 149 sq ft over a different colour and 50 to 80 sq ft on a porous surface. Coverage varies with the surface, thickness and application method.
Performance depends on substrate preparation, site conditions, applied thickness and adherence to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Clean, dry and check the compatibility of the surface.
Apply 2 to 3 even coats by brush, roller or spray.
Enjoy the result for the duration of your campaign or installation.
Lift an edge and slowly peel away the film following the manufacturer's recommendations.
